FSM-Japan Business Forum

On Friday, October 23rd, the FSM-Japan Business Forum, hosted by the Ministry of Resources Development of the Federated States of Micronesia, will be held in Tokyo with the theme of "Partnerships for a Sustainable Marine and Environmental Economy."

This forum will be an important opportunity to strengthen the long-standing cooperative relationship between FSM and Japan through the promotion of trade, investment, knowledge exchange, and sustainable development. Discussions will focus on priority areas such as agriculture, fisheries, trade and investment, tourism, energy, telecommunications and IT , and waste management, aiming to strengthen cooperation among stakeholders, including companies, investors, and government agencies, and to create concrete opportunities for collaboration.

Furthermore, for FSM , this will expand access to the Japanese market, attract responsible investment, and promote sustainable economic growth. Based on the strong foundation of the " Kizuna" (bond) between the two countries , we aim to build a long-term partnership that will lead to economic diversification, resilience, and a future of mutual prosperity.
