群馬県富岡市訪問

群馬県富岡市を訪問し、富岡市役所にて岩井市長をはじめ富岡市役所の 方々、富岡市国際交流協会の皆様とお会いしました。ミクロネシア連邦 と富岡市の関係を振り返るとともに、来年のミクロネシア連邦ー日本の 国交樹立３０周年に向けまた改めて交流を深めていく為のきっかけとなる 訪問となりました。また、２０１４年に世界遺産に登録された富岡製糸場 にも訪問しました。日本の近代化産業の遺産に足を運び、素晴らしい時間 を過ごすことが出来ました。 Summary Ambassador Fritz held a meeting with Mayor of Tomioka City, members of Tomioka International Exchange Association, and officials of Tomioka City Government during his visit to take part in the Tomioka International Exchange Festival. Discussions were focused on how to strengthen the existing friendly ties taking into account the celebration of the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between FSM and Japan next year 2018. He also toured the Tomioka Silk Factory which was registered on the World Heritage in 2014. Thank you for the warm hospitality.
