The Japan Overseas Cooperation Volunteers Visited FSM Embassy

Eight out of nine (9) members of the Japan Overseas Cooperation Volunteers (JOCV) visited the FSM Embassy in Meguro, Tokyo to meet with Ambassador before leaving Japan to the FSM this month. The JOCV program this year will be the first after temporarily suspended due to COVID-19.

The JOCVs will be dispatched to Kosrae, Pohnpei, and Chuuk in various fields including Elementary Education and Teachers, Youth Activities, Pharmacist, Nutritionist, and Environment Education. During their visit to the Embassy, Ambassador Fritz welcomed them and wish them success in their respective roles as Japan goodwill ambassadors to the FSM.
