ミクロネシア連邦外務省が日本に初めて小さなオフィスを開設した当初から、おつきあい頂いている南洋貿易の岩谷さんが来館して下さいました。フリッツ大使とは当時からすでに２５年もの間、会長の栗林徳五郎氏や現社長である栗林幸生氏とともに多方面に渡りご親切にして下さっています。この日もミクロネシア連邦の国起こしである ”レインボーネシア プロジェクト” の件で来て下さいました。いつもありがとうございます。どうぞこれからもよろしくお願い申し上げます。
Mr. Iwatani of Nanyo Boeki Company (NBK) held a meeting with Ambassador Fritz to exchange views on important issues including the Rainbownesia Project, Honorary Consul, and others. NBK was very instrumental in FSM’s physical presence in Japan in the 80s when the Economic Liaison Office was first opened. From that time, it has been playing a vitol role in assisting the Office in promoting FSM-Japan relations. The FSM is grateful for the support and cooperation extended by NBK most especially from the Kuribayashi’s family including Chairman Tokugoro Kuribayashi and President Yukio Kuribayashi. We look forward to continue the friendly and cooperative relations and to work together toward further strenthening the FSM-Japan relations.
