Ambassador Fritz welcomes three Officers from the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) to the Embassy for a farewell and greeting. The Embassy bids farewell and offers sincere appreciation to Mr. Shinya Tamio, who until August 1 st ,2024 led as Director at JICA’s Pacific and Southeast Asia Department. The Embassy wishes Mr. Tamio well on his future endeavors.

The Embassy also welcomes Mr. Tamio’s successor, Mr. Junnosuke Iwano, Director of the Pacific and Southeast Asia Department at JICA. We look forward to working together in continuing and new projects both in the FSM and Japan to better enhance the development and relationship of our nations. We look to the support of the involved JICA officers and staff who continue to support the Pacific, especially the FSM.
