昨年１２月、在ミクロネシア日本国大使館、特命全権大使にご就任なされた、鈴木栄一閣下が大使を訪問されました。 来月中旬頃にポンペイに赴任される予定と聞いております。 鈴木大使と一緒にご来館されたのは、大洋州課の新谷知恵さん、やはり、１２月にミクロネシア担当の矢野さんの後任になられた方です。 どうぞよろしくお願い申し上げます。
The newly appointed Ambassador of Japan to the FSM, H.E. Eichi Suzuki called on Ambassador Fritz at the FSM Embassy in Tokyo before departing for FSM. Micronesia region desk officer Ms. Chie Shintani, successor of Ms. Yano, accompanied Ambassador Suzuki.
１月１９日 衆議院議員 本多平直氏を大使が表敬し、ミクロネシア連邦を紹介いたしました。 今後の日本とのさらなる友好関係を話し合いました。

Japan Airlines Kochi Office representative Mr. Igarashi visited the Embassy to learn about the planned direct flight from Kochi Prefecture to FSM. Hope the flight can be materialized.
