駐日ミクロネシア連邦大使：ジョン・フリッツの日々前進！

Ambassador Fritz and Deputy Chief of Mission/Minister Nanpei Peralta called on  the Honorbale Keiji Furuya, a member of the House of Representatives and Chairman of the Japan-Federated States of Micronesia Parliamentary Friendship League, and hold friendly exchanges on future collaboration.  Always grateful for the support.

日本・ミクロネシア連邦友好議員連盟の会長である古屋圭司衆議院議員とお会いし、今後について話し合いました。いつも大変お世話になっております。

The Pacific Island Countries Ambassadors (PICAG)  hosted a farewell lunch for Her Excellency Mrs. Faalavaau PerinaJacqueline SILA-TUALAULELEI of the Independent State of Samoa, who completed her mission in Japan. She had served her country as Ambassador for over ten years. We thank her Excellency for all the contributions to the development and strenthening of the cooperation and KIZUNA between Japan and our Pacific region. Wish every success in her future endeavors. 

太平洋島嶼国大使団（PICAG）は、日本での任期を終えられたサモア独立国のファアラヴァアウ・ペリナ・ジャクリーン・シラ＝トゥアラウレレイ大使閣下をお招きし、送別昼食会を主催いたしました。同大使は10年以上にわたり、大使として母国のために尽力されました。日本と太平洋地域との間の協力関係および「絆（KIZUNA）」の発展・強化に多大な貢献をされた同大使に心より感謝申し上げるとともに、今後のご活躍をお祈り申し上げます。

Ambassador Fritz met with Her Excellency Ambassador Tanja Jaaskelainen of Finland to the FSM over lunch, at the Finland Embassy to reaffirm the strong and enduring partnership between their two nations. The luncheon was also joined by Ms. Henna Knuuttila, Deputy Head of Mission as well as DCM Nanpei.

During the meeting, the ambassadors exchanged views on areas of mutual interest, including opportunities to deepen collaboration in diplomacy and people-to-people exchanges.

The meeting concluded with an agreement to maintain close coordination and enthusiasm for future collaboration.

フリッツ大使は、フィンランド大使のタニャ・ヤスケライネンとフィンランド大使館にて昼食会を共にし、両国間の強固かつ永続的なパートナーシップを再確認した。同席には、フィンランド大使館のヘンナ　クヌッティラ公使及びミクロネシア連邦大使館のナンペイ公使も同席した。

会談では、外交分野や人的交流における協力強化の機会を含む、相互関心事項について意見交換が行われた。

今後の協力に向けた緊密な連携と意欲を維持することで合意し、会談は終了した。

Students from Katsushika Ward Kameari Junior High School visited the Embassy as part of their international understanding education programme.
