駐日ミクロネシア連邦大使：ジョン・フリッツの日々前進！

神奈川県立相模原 中等教育学校の皆さんが来館されました。

福島県生活環境部の橋本課長と小野寺様が、大使館を訪問されました。来年、いわき市で開催される『第７回 太平洋島・サミット』や、今後の取り組みについて話し合いました。

平成２６年６月１日、愛知県江南市の市制６０周年を迎える記念式典が開かれました。フリッツ大使もご招待を受けましたが不在のため、エマニュエル・モリ大統領からのお祝いのメッセージを秘書の草柳が式典で代読しました。　江南市とミクロネシア連邦は、２００５年に開催された万博『愛・地球博』のご縁から１０年近く良好な関係を築いています。　式典は江南市の高等学校の生徒さん達による琴の演奏で始まり、江南市と愛知江南短期大学との包括的提携に関する協定締結の報告や、市の発展に貢献された方々の表彰、来賓挨拶等々、最後には江南市の小学生による心打つ歌声で締めくくられました。　これからの江南市のさらなる発展を願う大統領からのメッセージでした。

Summary

On June 1, 2014 Konan City celebrated the 60th  anniversary of its foundation. In the absence of Ambassador Fritz, Kusayanagi represented him in delivering a congratulatory message from President Mori.  Since the World EXPO 2005 in Aichi, Konan City and FSM have developed strong friendly ties. Programs of the event included performances from high school students, presentations of citizens awards, speeches and songs from primary school students. Wish for success and prosperity of the people of Konan City.

在ミクロネシア連邦アメリカ大使館（ポンペイ州）の公使に任命された、Mr. Hugues Ogierが表敬訪問にいらっしゃいました。

Summary

Welcomed Mr. Hugues Ogier from the Embassy of the United States of America in Tokyo, who paid a call on Ambassador Fritz before leaving for  his next assignment at the Embassy of the United States of America in FSM (Pohnpei State) as a Minister.

このたび、国際ロータリー２７５０地区に新しいクラブ『東京サンライズ汐留ロータリークラブ』が誕生します。これからさらに太平洋地域とのつながりを継続していくため、さまざまな意見交換をしました。

Summary

Welcome members of the newly established Tokyo Sunrise Shiodome Rotary Club of International Rotary District 2750. As a new Club, members visited the Embassy to exchange views on strengthening cooperation with the Pacific Basin (regional) Group.
