『ミクロネシア諸島自然体験交流２０１４』で来日中の子どもたちが、渋谷区立松涛中学校を訪問しました。一緒に授業を受け、給食を食べたり、体育館で行われた交流会では盆踊りに飛び入り参加したり、ミクロネシア各州の伝統ダンスを披露しました。
Summary
One of the program was the cross-cultural interaction with students of Shoto Junior High School in Shibuya Ward. It was a one-day event in which the Micronesian children and Shoto Junior High School students had lunch together and show-cased their respective cultural dances.
国立青少年教育振興機構主催の『ミクロネシア諸島自然体験交流２０１４』で、今年もミクロネシア諸島（ミクロネシア連邦、パラオ共和国、マーシャル諸島共和国）から子どもたちが来日しました。大使館訪問では、大使館の仕事内容や役割を学び、各州ごとに記念写真を撮りました。この交流プログラムは、異文化体験を通して、次世代の人材育成を目的としており、今年で１３回目を迎えます。さっそく日本語を覚えてコミュニケーションを図ろうとする意欲的なメンバーもいました。将来がとても楽しみです。
Summary
Under the National Institution for Youth Education (NIYE) 2014 Exchange Program, children from the four States of the Federated States of Micronesia, the Republic of Palau and the Republic of the Marshall Islands arrived in Japan for a one week period. This year marks the 13th program since its inception in 2002. As part of their programs, the FSM students visited the Embassy to learn about the work and meet with staff. Photos were taken with each State’s representatives. The program aim is to promote cross-cultural communication/interaction between the young generations. Very much impressed to witness some of the children already started to communicate in Japanese. All the best.
去る６月１３日、アジアパシフィック婦人友好会の寄付の配分式が行われました。この寄付金はバザーの収益金を参加国で配分し、それぞれの国の女性と子供達の支援に送られます。今年はバングラデッシュ大使夫人が外国側の会長で、フィージー大使夫人が副会長をされましたが、来年度は当館のフリッツ夫人が会長に、中国の大使夫人が副会長のお役を承り、その場で発表されました。今年の寄付金は、ミクロネシア連邦の女性達の母子手帳発行のために使われます。今年もバザーにご協力いただきました皆様に心から感謝申し上げます。来年も引き続き、宜しくお願い申し上げます。
Summary
The check sharing event of the Asian Pacific Ladies Friendship Society (ALFS) was held on June 23, 2013. This event is held to distribute the procedes from the ALFS’s charitable activities for the member countries in support of women and children programs.

Summary
FSM Honorary Consul in Kushiro, Hokkaido Mr. Nobutsugi Kuribayashi visited the Embassy to deliver a contribution from the International Soroptimist (Women’s Group) in Kushiro to the Chuuk Womens Council (CWC) in Chuuk. On behalf of the CWC Ambassador Fritz received the contribution and issued a letter of appreciation to the group through Mr. Kuribayashi. Thank you very much for your contribution.
