駐日ミクロネシア連邦大使：ジョン・フリッツの日々前進！

ミクロネシア連邦、パラオ共和国、マーシャル諸島共和国 三ヶ国の大統領によるサミットが、現地で毎年、開催されています。今年は７月にパラオ共和国で行われました。その結果を受け、パラオ共和国大使館のアンナ・ヒデオ臨時代理大使、マーシャル諸島共和国のキジナー大使、ノート公使と意見交換をしました。

Summary

Diplomats  from the three embassies of the Micronesian sub-region in Tokyo held a get together to exchange views on the outcome of the President Summit held in the Republic of Palau in July. The meeting was held at the FSM Embassy with the presence of   Ambassador Mr. Tom D. Kijiner  and Counsellor Ms. Annette Note from the Embassy of the Republic of the Marshall Islands, Charge d’ Affaires Ms. Ngedikes Anna Hideo from the Embassy of the Republic of Palau, and Ambassador Fritz and Minister Andrew from the FSM Embassy.

Summary

It was a pleasure welcoming Miss. Reina and Mr. Ryuto Noguchi to the Embassy to learn about the Federated States of Micronesia (FSM). Came along with them are their parents. The visit is part of their research activities for the summer, and wish for a success report. Look forward to have them visiting FSM in the future.

チューク州出身で、神戸在住のMr.Jesse Nukutoが来館しました。彼は縁あって日本に留学し、現在は日本で家庭を持ち、働いています。とても日本語が流暢で、関西弁もお手の物です。

ちょうど会議の為に上京していた在伊丹ミクロネシア連邦総領事の荒木氏と初めて会うことができ、今後の関西方面での活動協力に期待しています。

Summary

Jesse Nukuto from the State of Chuuk visited the Embassy. He is currently residing in Kobe working and leaving with his Japanese family. He is fluent in Japanese more of the Kansai accents. Nukuto also had the opportunity to meet with FSM Honorary Consul in Kinki region, who was in Tokyo for consultation meeting with the Embassy. Wish all the best.

ミクロネシア振興協会（ＡＭＤ）のご支援により、ザビエル高校の学生２名が来日しています。約２週間の滞在中、日本の企業見学や自然エネルギーの研修、千葉県の高校生との交流など、さまざまなプログラムを体験させていただきます。これは、ＡＭＤの『ミクロネシア連邦と日本の架け橋となる人材育成プロジェクト』によるものです。貴重な機会をいただき、心から感謝申し上げます。

Summary

Mr. Joey Wichep and Ms.  K-Andrea Evarose S. Limol from Xavier High School in Chuuk visited Japan under the invitation by  the Association for Micronesia Development (AMD). Coincides with the  celebration events of the 25th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the Federated States of Micronesia (FSM) and Japan this year, AMD invited these two youths as a way to  promote and further strengthen the people to people network between the young generations of both countries. Their program for the two weeks of stay in Japan  includes visits to companies and factories specializing in clean energy, cultural and goodwill exchange with high school students, visiting cultural sites and etc. Many thanks to AMD for providing the golden opportunity to our youths.

Summary

Mrs. Momoe Fritz, wife of Ambassador Fritz, and Ms. Takue Kusayanagi, Ambassador’s Secretary, met with United Airlines representatives Messrs.  Nagata and Takahashi to thank them for their continued support to the activities of the Asia-Pacific Ladies Friendship Society (ALFS) by providing round-trip tickets between Tokyo and FSM as contribution to the annual charitable event. Spouses of the diplomatic staff of the FSM Embassy are member of the ALFS.
