駐日ミクロネシア連邦大使：ジョン・フリッツの日々前進！

フィンランド大使館のTanja Jääskeläinen大使閣下がご来館されました。

Ambassador Fritz welcomes a courtesy call by Ambassador Tanja Jääskeläinen of the Embassy of Finland. The Embassy of the Federated States of Micronesia welcomes further partnership with the Embassy of Finland and looks forward to future endeavors.

The Embassy of Finland is cross-accredited to the Federated States of Micronesia with residence in Tokyo and is awaiting an appropriate time to visit the Federated States of Micronesia.

Ambassador Tanja Jääskeläinen is the first Ambassador to visit the new Embassy of the Federated States of Micronesia since the Grand Opening in February of 2023.

外務大臣政務官の武井 俊輔 衆議院議員が新しい大使館にお見えになりました。日本・ミクロネシア連邦議員連盟のメンバーであり、長年大変お世話になっております。今後も両国の絆を深めるために協力し合っていけることを期待しております。

Ambassador Fritz welcomes Honorable Shunsuke Takei, Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs. This meeting was held on the occasion of the Grand Opening of the Embassy of the Federated States of Micronesia.

The Embassy of Federated States of Micronesia expresses sincere gratitude to Honorable Takei and the Japanese Government for their continued support and looks forward to working together in promoting and deepening the bond between our peoples and countries.

ミクロネシア連邦大使館の開設から現在までの歴史を共に歩んできた赤坂の霊南坂ビルを離れました。管理人の松村さんご夫妻には、これまで大変お世話になりまして本当にありがとうございました。

Sports (Yakkyu) equipments were donated to Chuuk State from the FSM Honorary Consul General (HCG) in Osaka with the support of Isono Sports Co.Ltd. to help  the little league in Chuuk State. The donation was made in respond to the call from the Governor of Chuuk State, the Honorable Alexander R. Narruhn. The Embassy will continue to assist in seeking support from friends to help develop the little league throughout the FSM. Mr. Suyama representing Isono Sports Co. Ltd.  and Dr. Kobayashi on behlaf of the FSMHCG in Osaka handed over to the FSM Embassy.

チューク州のリトルリーグ（野球）を支援するため、株式会社イソノ運動具店様 の支援を受けて、在大阪ミクロネシア連邦名誉総領事から野球用具のバットやグローブ等が寄贈されました。

この寄付は、アレキサンダー R. ナルーン州知事からの呼びかけに応えて行われました。

株式会社イソノ運動具店 代表の須山克彦氏と在大阪ミクロネシア連邦名誉総領事代理の小林氏から手渡されました。

ミクロネシア連邦大使館では、ミクロネシア連邦全体でリトルリーグを発展させるために引き続き支援を継続していきたいと思います。

１０月６日、国立青少年教育振興機構(NIYE)主催のもとポンペイ州の中・高校生がオンライン交流会を行いました。

双方が歴史・文化・習慣についてのショートムービーを作成し、自国の文化を伝え合いました。また、日常生活の身近なテーマなど、お互いが興味のあることについて意見交換もしました。

コロナ前の２０１９年までは毎年、ミクロネシア連邦の４州から中学生が来日。逆に日本からも『ミクロネシア諸島自然体験交流プログラム』でミクロネシア諸島を訪問していました。コロナ禍においてもこのように交流プログラムを開催して下さる国立青少年教育振興機構の皆様に心から感謝申し上げます。
