A friendly meeting was held between Ambassador John Fritz and Mr. Bernard Lim, Special Envoy of the Minister for Transport of the Republic of Singapore on Tuesday, June 24, 2025 at the FSM Embassy in Tokyo.
Singapore shared its fond relationship with the FSM and commented on the successful outcome of 79 trainees in aviation, and 5 trainees in maritime. More interaction is welcomed and encouraged in other areas such as land transport.
Ambassador Fritz shared appreciation to the Government of Singapore, through Special Envoy Lim for its continued support in advancing the FSM’s human capacity building. Ambassador Fritz looks forward to presenting his Credentials to Singapore in the near future and looks forward to meeting with Special Envoy Lim at the time. Mr. Gabriel Loh, Executive of International Relations and Security Division of the Singapore Ministry of transport and Deputy Chief of Mission Nanpei were also in attendance.
2025年6月24日（火）、東京のミクロネシア連邦大使館にて、ジョン・フリッツ駐日大使とシンガポール共和国バーナード・リム運輸大臣特使との会談が行われました。
シンガポールは、ミクロネシア連邦との友好関係を共有し、航空分野で79名、海事分野で5名の研修生を受け入れ、成功を収めたことについてコメントしました。陸上輸送など、他の分野での更なる交流が期待されます。
フリッツ大使は、リム特使を通じて、ミクロネシア連邦の人的能力向上に対するシンガポール政府の継続的な支援に感謝の意を表しました。フリッツ大使は、近い将来、シンガポールに信任状を提出し、その際にリム特使とお会いできることを楽しみにしています。また、シンガポール運輸省国際関係・安全保障局のガブリエル・ロー局長と、当館のナンペイ公使も同席しました。
