The Asia-Pacific Ladies Friendship Society (ALFS) had it’s Annual ALFS Charity Bazaar on April 23, 2025 at the Meiji Memorial Hall in Tokyo. ALFS with members from 26 different countries in the Asia-Pacific regions, including FSM, each had a booth promoting its international culture, tradition, and goods and attended by more than a hundred friends and families of the countries. The FSM Ambassador John Fritz and Madame Momoe Fritz had the Honor of welcoming Japan’s Princess Hitachi to the FSM Booth. As usual, the most popular purchase of the day at the FSM Booth was the Pohnpei Black Pepper (finished instantly), followed by the FSM canned tuna and shell necklaces.
Founded in November of 1968, ALFS aims to promote international understanding and friendship among member countries in the Asia-Pacific region through cultural and fundraising activities.
2025年4月23日、東京・明治記念館にて、アジア太平洋レディースフレンドシップソサエティ（ALFS）のチャリティーバザーが開催されました。ALFSは、ミクロネシア連邦を含むアジア太平洋地域26カ国のメンバーで構成され、それぞれの国の文化、伝統、商品を紹介するブースが設けられ、100人を超える各国の友人や家族が参加しました。ジョン・フリッツ駐日ミクロネシア連邦大使とモモエ・フリッツ夫人は、日本の常陸宮妃殿下をミクロネシア連邦ブースにお迎えしました。例年通り、ミクロネシア連邦ブースでは、ポンペイ・ブラックペッパー（即完売）、そしてミクロネシア連邦産ツナ缶と貝殻のネックレスが人気でした。
ALFSは1968年11月に設立され、文化活動や募金活動を通じて、アジア太平洋地域の加盟国間の国際理解と友好を促進することを目的としています。
