駐日ミクロネシア連邦大使：ジョン・フリッツの日々前進！

Ambassador Fritz accompnaied by DCM Nanpei received a painting (Art Work) of Outrigger Chechemeni donated by Mr. Hideharu Shinde, a friend of the FSM. Mr. Shinde donated five paintings including Jeep Island in Chuuk, Stone Money in Yap, Nan Madol Ruins in Pohnpei, Magrove Forest in Kosrea, and Outrigger Chechemeni. All these painting are dipslyed at the FSM Embassy. 

ミクロネシア連邦の友人である新出英晴氏よりアウトリガーカヌー・チェチェメニ号の絵画が寄贈されました。新出氏はこれまでにチューク州のジープ島、ヤップ州の石貨、ポンペイ州のナン・マドール遺跡、コスラエ州のマングローブ林、そしてチェチェメニ号を含む５点の絵画を寄贈してくださいました。これらはすべてミクロネシア連邦大使館に展示されています。

Ambassador Fritz received  H.E. Kenchi Kasahara during a courtesy visit. Mr. Kasahara was recently appointeded as Ambassador of Japan to the Republic of Palau, a palce that he is very much familiar with including the Pacific the region, when he was at  the Oceania Division of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. 

新しく駐パラオ日本国大使に任命された笠原謙一大使閣下の表敬訪問を受けました。笠原大使は外務省大洋州課に在籍していた際に太平洋地域を含むパラオ共和国に精通していたことから、同国の日本大使に任命されました。

Ambassador of Austria H.E. Michael Rendi visited the embassy and held discussions with FSM Ambassador H.E. John Fritz in various areas including the membership of the UNSC for the 2027-2028. 

オーストリア大使館のミヒャエル・レンディ閣下と、２０２７-２０２８年の国連安保理理事国メンバーシップを含む様々な分野について協議を行いました。

On July 6, the 56th Tokyo Judo Therapists Association Judo Tournament was held at the Kodokan, the headquarters of judo. The ‘Federated States of Micronesia Friendship Cup’ is a division for elementary school students. Representing the Embassy, Miss. Christina Toko Shigeta participated in the awards ceremony. Additionally, a special lecture was given by judo athlete Takanori Nagase, a member of the Japanese national team and two-time consecutive Olympic gold medalist.

７月６日、柔道の総本山である講道館で第５６回東京都柔道整復師会柔道大会が行われました。『ミクロネシア連邦友好杯』は小学生を対象とした部門です。大使館を代表して、職員のクリスティーナ・トウコ・シゲタが表彰式に参加しました。また、特別講師として、柔道日本代表でオリンピック２大会連続金メダルの永瀬貴規選手による講演がありました。

Members of the JICA Overseas Cooperation Volunteers visited the embassy. Among them were those who had completed their two-year terms, those currently active who were temporarily back in Japan, and those about to depart. We had the opportunity to hear many valuable stories from them. We wish them all continued success in their endeavors.

JICA海外協力隊の皆様がご来館されました。２年間の任期を終えられた方、現在活動中で一時帰国中の方、またこれから出発する方がご一緒で、貴重なお話しをたくさんお聞きすることができました。皆様のますますのご活躍をお祈り申し上げます。
